Food & Accommodations

Accommodation is Cubanacan's 4 Star La Granjita Resort Hotel located in the City of Santa Clara, the heart of the hunt area. The hotel rooms are air conditioned, two queen size beds, cleaned daily, colour TV and American programming. All meals are served in the Hotel's dining room. Meals are well prepared and may include your game birds, if desired. The hunt rates quoted are based on single occupancy. The entire hunt trip is one week (normally weekend to weekend), unless a custom itinerary is selected and air/local travel arrangements can be accommodated.

Cuban Hunting Package in Sancti Spiritus and Jobo Rosado

TE has now expanded its Wingshooting opportunities in Cuba offering duck, quail, snipe and guinea fowel shooting in Sancti Spiritus and Jobo Rosado

The Sancti Spiritus area offers the "best" duck hunting opportunities in Cuba Shooting, which occurs in the mangrove's natural lagoons, and close to the mangroves where one of the largest rice plantations and the largest fresh water lake (Taza Lake) exist in Cuba

In Jobo Rosado, the duck hunting is in small mangroves, but closer to the hotel than in Sancti Spiritus. Both locations also offer morning and white wing dove shooting, as well as guinea fowel shooting in Jobo Rosado, all with generous bird limits.

Because of the distance from the hotel to the lagoons and the large number of ducks at Sancti Spiritus, the duck hunting is normally confined to one hunt per day, and dove shooting occurs on off days - dove hunts in the A.M. and P.M.

Wingshooting programs can be designed for Sancti Spiritus, Jobo Rosado or Santa Clara, OR any combinations of locations. For example - hunters could shoot ducks for 2 days (2 hunts) at Sancti Spiritus and 3 days (6 hunts) of doves, quail, snipe at Santa Clara, OR 3 days of ducks, doves and guineas at Jobo Rosado (6 hunts), with 2 days (4 hunts) at Santa Clara.

Although Hunt Package prices for Sancti Spiritus and Jobo Rosado vary depending on the Wingshooting Program desired and the number of hunters in a Group, the Hunt Program costs will generally be similar to the Hunt Package prices quoted for Santa Clara - Refering to the following "Typical" Combined Wingshooting Program.

Food & Accommodations

Accommodations at Sancti Spiritus and Jobo Rosado are four star, very similar to the La Granjita Hotel in Santa Clara.

The Los Laureles Hotel is within five minutes of the City of Sancti Spiritus, which is the main City in the Province.

The San Jose del Largo hotel is close to the small Town of Mayajigua in the north part of the Province. Both hotels are located about the same distance (80km) from the Santa Clara Airport.

The price includes clearance of your guns in Cuba, hunting licence, accommodation, meals, airport transfers and ground transfers to/from the hunting locations, guided hunts with individual guides, dogs, firearm storage and cleaning. Not included in the trip is airfare from Toronto (Montreal) to Cuba and return. Connecting flights can be arranged from other North American Gateways. Alcoholic beverages and/or liquids after hunting sessions, gratuities and other incidentals incurred by individuals are extra. Shotguns both 12 and 20 gauge, cartridges (cartridges at $15 CUC per box) are available. Cuban Airport departure tax - $25 CUC per person. Travel insurance - available at the time of booking.
